This holiday home is located right on the edge of a pond with a dock and a small boat. You can fish in the lake nearby with a fishing licence. Two more rowing boats can be availed on request from the owner. You can take a walk and collect mushrooms from the forest nearby. The charming Rullamaalen is located about a kilometre towards south of Kroksjö. The stream of Rullebäcken that originates from Högahult flows on this property. The property is dominated by a huge ash tree, with a trunk, 3 metres in diameter and was planted in the 18th century. The water mill and the iron industry are the ancient examples for the income of Rullamaalen. The region got its name from the sailor named Rulle. Jan Svensson Rulle was the first sailor to use the Karlskrona Raft Station in the year 1680. 5 more Rulles succeeded the first and the last Rulle was Johan Peter Niklasson Rulle.

    “Mooi knus huisje in een prachtige omgeving. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, hij heeft ons een aantal plekken aanbevolen om te bezoeken. Vlakbij ligt een prachtig meer waar wij op zijn gaan varen met een bootje dat we van de eigenaar mochten lenen. Het huisje ligt heel afgelegen, waardoor je vrijwel geen andere mensen ziet en volop van de natuur kunt genieten. Het huisje zelf is erg klein, maar fijn; van alle gemakken voorzien. Zeer aan te raden!”

    “Komplett eingerichtetes Häuschen mit freundlichem & hilfsbereitem Vermieter (Glühbirne) gegenüber wohnend. Wir haben trotz Stockbetten sehr gut geschlafen. Die Lage lädt neben Wanderungen u.a. ein zu Besuchen diverser "Glasriket"-Glasfabriken mit Kaufmöglichkeiten, dem Besuch von Kalmar (45 min) sowie der extrem sehenswerten Insel Öland (1 Std Fahrt, keine Brückenmaut). Wir würden wiederkommen!”
