Havnsø is a small town with a fishing harbour and a marina. It has a ferry service to Sejerø and Nekselø. You can enjoy the captivating view of the sunset over Nekselø from Havnsø. Sejerø has abundant natural wealth, grave mounds and a church with chalk paintings. Two hiking trails in Nekselø pass through a beautiful bird sanctuary and a landscape adorned by the glaciers of ice age. There are two bird sanctuaries and a coastal heath of Vesterlyng with rare flora near the house. You can go fishing on the coast here. You can also enjoy sailing in a boat on the sea from Havnsø. In the vicinity of this house, there are castles and manors, the Dragsholm Castle with dungeon of Earl of Bothwell and the immured lady. Do visit the lovely medieval town Kalundborg with its narrow, cobbled streets and beautiful timbered houses. You may go on a shopping spree and visit one of the several attractive restaurants or take a look at the beautiful Vor Frue Church, the only church in Denmark with 5 towers.
